We offer a broad range of educational digital dome shows for Early Years, Key Stages 1-5, and adults. Our teaching of science and astronomy is tailored to the various developmental stages of children's thinking.

Educational institutions receive discounts across all bookings, making our digital dome experiences possible for the equivalent of £1.43 per student (with the 7m dome and 8 sessions), to £3.13 per student (with the 4m dome and 8 sessions). This gives your school access to:

  • as many performances as we can squeeze into the visit
  • personalised, interactive, presenter-led sessions
  • an unlimited selection of over 250 fulldome shows (we make available the largest planetarium show catalogue in the world)
  • an inflatable 4m, 5m, 6m or 7m indoor digital dome for either half a day, full day or split across lunch
  • a mobile digital dome experience like no other (as attested to by our current and detailed visitor feedback); due to owner and director Mario Di Maggio's broad and extensive planetarium experience.

Please note:

  • travel cost is 45p per mile
  • there is no VAT to pay
  • for visits further than two hours drive from Bristol, we only accept Full Day bookings (or a shorter booking but at that price), with an additional Long Distance Levy:
    • 4m dome Full Day (£500) + £250 = £750 + travel
    • 5m dome Full Day (£550) + £250 = £800 + travel
    • 6m dome Full Day (£600) + £250 = £850 + travel
    • 7m dome Full Day (£800) + £100 = £900 + travel
  • over the three weeks in March that include British Science Week, we only accept Full Day 7m dome bookings (or bookings with a smaller dome, but at that price). This is our busiest time of the year and our 7m planetarium becomes fully booked.

Please let us know immediately if there is no elevator, as the venue will need to provide a number of strong assistants to help carry the equipment (both up the stairs and later back down the stairs)

  • prices are for standard business hours (8am - 6pm). Bookings extending after 6pm are charged an extra £50 per hour

  • for visits further than two hours drive from Bristol, we only accept Full Day bookings (or a shorter booking but at that price), with an additional Long Distance Levy (please see top of this page for details).
